Becoming a bartender

Years ago I was a bartender in NYC. I loved it!! It was a great way to make money and it was a lot of fun (most nights). Now, with money being so tight and needing more than ever, I started thinking about picking up a few shifts. I was talking to one of my friends about this and she was thinking of doing the same thing. As a school teacher, she gets out of work pretty early and could pick up a few shifts to make ends meet. Only problem, she didn’t know how to become a bartender. I realized that I didn’t know anything about bartending either, when I got the job all those years ago. I never thought that bartending would be such a marketable job skill!
